Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
I hope that all of you are out doing something just as festive as my dress that I picked out for this occasion! I tend to strike out with Lilly Pulitzer because a lot of the prints are a little too busy for my personal style, but when I saw this print I absolutely fell in love. It’s subtle, in all the right shades, fits like a dream, and is covered in the most perfect palm print.
If you are a more petite lady, pretty much any Lilly dress you purchase will need to be hemmed. I had mine hemmed so that it could be worn with both flats and these darling espadrilles.
It was a little bit windy today.
I don’t know if any of you were around for “Pink Sunday” as it was called, but this is one of the pieces from the Lilly Pulitzer for Target line that was released (and gobbled up in seconds) two years ago (see collab here). I had an early lady date that Sunday morning (6 a.m. – yes, I said a.m.) which included standing in line at Target, umbrellas for the light drizzle and all the Starbucks. If you are lusting after this line still, I believe a lot of these pieces are still available on eBay!
One of my favorite spots in Chapel Hill is the Coker Arboretum (see here). It’s a gorgeous botanical garden at the edge of the UNC Chapel Hill campus.
This is actually on my running route. Unfortunately, it is towards the beginning so I always come back by at the end so I can finish with beautiful scenery. It has been pretty bare for the winter but some yellow flowers are starting to bloom.
I am a huge Stuart Weitzman fan, and these espadrilles are perfection. They’re comfortable, stylish and make me feel 10 feet tall (and who doesn’t like that?). Did I mention they’re on sale? See below for details.
(Dress: Lilly Pulitzer, Under the Palms print (old, but you can find the print here) / Shoes: Stuart Weitzman (on sale! see here) / Clutch: Lilly Pulitzer for Target (found! here))
Wishing you all of the luck of the Irish on St. Patrick’s Day from me and my two red-haired men!
