My current skincare regime

Since self-quarantining began, I’ve been spending a lot of extra time on my personal well-being, specifically, my skincare.

I don’t need a quarantine as an excuse to pamper and take extra care of my skin.

However, if you are new to skincare and are wanting to take a deeper dive into how you can bougie up your daily routine, then stick around.

First, everyone has a different method to the their skincare madness. The key here is you have to know your own skin. For me, I have sensitive skin with a low-profile rosacea that likes to creep up every now and again. Beyond sensitivity, my skin is fairly normal – not excessively oily or dry.

As a lot of you know, I began my clean beauty skincare journey about two years ago and I’m not fully clean (yet), but I would say I’m about 90% there. I have a few products that I may never give up because they’re cult favorites in my boudoir.

Cleanse

I have a couple different cleansers and (like many things in my repertoire) I use them depending on what my skin needs at the time. Here are my favorites:

Good Juju Herbal Clay Facial Soap

Tata Harper

Toner & Facial Mists (typically this is only at night for me, but depending on your toner, you could use it day and night)

Indie Lee

Serum

This is the money maker step (in my opinion). Typically in any skincare routine this is where you’re going to sink the most money – but hopefully get the most bang for your buck. Here’s my favorites:

Vintner’s Daughter

Maya Chia

Indie Lee

Moisturizer / Face Oil

Eye Cream

Mask

Sunscreen

There are a couple of websites that I’m pretty big into these days as it relates to skincare – goop & VIOLET GREY.
